Enhance your triathlon experience by pairing HRM-Tri with your Forerunner 920XT or other compatible Garmin device. The HRM-Tri stores heart rate data when underwater, then forwards it to your Garmin fitness device. This is Garmin's smallest and lightest module which fits within the width of the strap. Its soft, rounded edges and covered seams make the strap super-comfortable out of the water, too.
Extensive Running Dynamics
When running, this pairing allows your compatible wearable to report 6 running dynamics metrics: cadence, stride length, ground contact time, ground contact time balance, vertical oscillation and vertical ratio.

Great product for triathletes, very comfortable fit. I haven’t had a chance to use it in open water yet as all the lakes around me are frozen. There is lots of good running data, and it works well with my indoor bike trainer.
